Fortunately the landscape contractor had unbroken sunshine for the initial stage of the build. Therefore progress was made quickly and thankfully relatively cleanly.

Weeks 2 and 3 - Brickwork in progress.

After the concrete base was laid the brickwork commenced. With such a curvaceous design it was labour intensive but the finished brickwork is immaculate.

Week 4 - Hard landscaping completed.

The paving, steps and brickwork pulled the design together in the final week and the lawn gave the finishing touch to the hard landscaping.

Week 5 - Initial planting completed.

The emphasis is on evergreen, year-round interest, with very few perennials and little or no need for annuals.
